Researchers studying data collected from StarCraft II matches found that reaction time actually starts declining as early as your mid 20s. (Isn't that exciting?) Their paper even included a mathematical model that allows us to predict reaction time at various ages - that's what made this calculator possible. Of course, it's a bit more complicated than that. If you've used websites that test your reaction time, for example, you might be thinking these numbers look way too high! But this study focused on slower "choice reactions" that are way more relevant to real-world performance.
